Uptime Check

How to use it
- Open Uptime Check under Tools and enter any public http or https address.
- Press Check now. The answer arrives in seconds.
- Read the verdict, then the trip: every hop with its status code and time.
How the verdict works
- Online means the final page answered 2xx.
- Missing means the server is up but the page returns 404. Different problem, different fix.
- Server error means a 5xx. That is hosting or code, not visitors.
- Redirect loop means the hops never landed.
- Offline means nothing answered at all.
One peek is a snapshot. A server that answers now can nap at 3am. That is what monitoring is for.
Limits
Ten free checks a day per visitor. Tarsier customers get a peek every five minutes on all 50 sites, with alerts when one naps.
