About Tarsier
Your website doesn't need more dashboards. It needs a lookout.
Tarsier is one small watcher for the whole site: who came, whether it's up, whether it got slower, and whether something strange moved in. Pica keeps an eye on all of it and only speaks when it matters.

The problem
Most websites are watched by four subscriptions and zero people.
Nobody sets out to build a monitoring empire. It just happens, one free trial at a time. Here is what it usually looks like.
Four tools for one website
Analytics in one tab. Uptime in another. A speed test you run when you remember. A scanner you meant to set up. Four logins, four invoices, four renewal emails.
Pica: That is not a stack. That is a hobby.
Dashboards nobody opens
Charts are great at showing what happened. They are terrible at telling you whether any of it mattered. So they sit there, beautifully, unread.
Pica: I read them so you do not have to.
The cookie tax
Tracking scripts that follow people around the internet, banners asking for permission, and a heavier page, all to count visitors on your own site.
Pica: I count visitors. I do not follow them home.
Finding out last
The site went down at 2 a.m., the checkout page doubled in weight, a strange script showed up. You heard about it from a customer. Politely, if you were lucky.
Pica: I would have mentioned it. Before breakfast.
How we solve it
One script. One watcher. One note when it counts.
Tarsier collapses the whole pile into a single, quiet routine. You install it once. Pica does the part where somebody actually pays attention.

Checkout got 1.2 MB heavier overnight.
Mostly one new script. It showed up yesterday evening.

Pica watches
Traffic as it happens. A peek at uptime every five minutes. Once a day, our own browser times the page and takes a look from the outside.
- 03
Pica learns ordinary
A week of normal days first. Then a jump means something, and a quiet Sunday does not.
- 04
Pica speaks up
A note on the chart, right where it happened. A short letter once a week. Urgent news, like downtime, travels by email or text.
Why Tarsier
Better, cheaper, and smarter. Pick three.
Usually you get to choose two. We did not like that deal, so we built our way out of it.
Better
It watches the site, not just the visitors.
- Traffic, uptime, speed, and a security look in one place
- Speed timed by our own browser, every day, on the same page
- Honest about limits: a look from the outside is not a server audit
Cheaper
One fee replaces a drawer full of invoices.
- $11.11 a month, or $111 a year
- 50 sites and 100,000 pageviews, all included
- No seats, no tiers of the same product, no call with sales
Smarter
It tells you what mattered, then goes quiet.
- Pica learns your ordinary before she says anything
- Notes land on the chart, next to the page or source that caused them
- Runs on the edge, so the script stays small and the page stays fast
The usual way
- An analytics subscription
- An uptime monitor
- A speed testing tool
- A security scanner
- A cookie banner to apologize for all of it
Several logins. Several invoices. Nobody actually watching.
The Tarsier way
- Traffic and uptime, every five minutes
- A daily speed check from our own browser
- A daily look for new scripts and redirects
- Pica's notes, and alerts when it's down
- One script, no cookies

Meet Pica
Why a tarsier?
Tarsiers are some of the smallest primates in the world, with famously enormous eyes. Small footprint. Big eyes. Always watching. Never creepy. Pica is not a sticker on the side of the product. Pica is the product: the part that notices, remembers what normal looks like, and taps you on the shoulder.
Things Pica will never do
- Set a cookie or fingerprint a visitor
- Sell, rent, or “share with partners” your data
- Email you a weekly digest of nothing
- Make you book a demo to learn the price
- Sell a feature that does not exist yet
- Grow the price because we grew the team
Why Tarsier exists
Small on purpose.
“You do not need more accounts. You need one account that gives you time back.”
Tarsier started as a backup plan that could be owned outright. Something small that earns its keep and answers to nobody.
Then came the obvious question: what does a website actually need? Not an analytics platform, an uptime monitor, a speed test and a scanner, each with its own seat, its own bill and its own dashboard nobody opens. It needs one watcher that notices when something changes.
So Tarsier is the affordable version, built on Cloudflare's edge. One little watcher that does the watching and skips everything else.
Staying small is the strategy. No team to feed, no investors to impress, no growth chart to apologize to. If Tarsier keeps its promises to the people who pay for it, that is success. Paul Jarvis gave the idea a name in Company of One, and it shaped the whole business.

Who runs it
One person. On purpose.
Tarsier is built and run from Manila by one person with twenty-plus years of building websites, big and small. That means no sales team, no account managers, and a price that does not grow with a headcount. When you write in, the person who wrote the code writes back.

Tarsier runs entirely on Cloudflare's global network. The pages, the dashboard, the tracker and Pica herself live at the edge, a short hop from every visitor. No servers to patch, no region to pick, no 3 a.m. pager.
Pica: I watch your site. Cloudflare watches my back. Everybody sleeps.
- WorkersRuns the site, the dashboard and the API.
- Analytics EngineStores every pageview, fast.
- Durable ObjectsKeeps Pica's Spyglass live.
- KVRemembers your sites and settings.
- R2Holds screenshots and reports.
- QueuesMoves events without dropping one.
- DNSPoints every visitor to the nearest edge.
- Browser RunTimes your pages and takes the screenshots.
Stop wondering. Start watching.
One script tonight, and tomorrow Pica starts learning what ordinary looks like on your site. $11.11 a month. No cookies. No ceremony.
