Site Health Report Card
“Annoyingly fast. Suspiciously tidy.”
Pica's take. Google loads before you finish deciding what to search for, which is either great engineering or mind reading. It keeps its scripts in-house, its locks tight, and its neighbors related. My only complaint is that it makes everyone else look slow, and they already know.

Timed by our own browser
In excellent shape.
Pica: Loaded before I blinked. I have very big eyes, so that is saying something.
Run the Speed Test on google.comA look from the outside
In excellent shape.
Pica: It does not invite strangers in. It is the stranger everyone else invites in.
Run the Hack Check on google.comWhat the internet says about it
In excellent shape.
Pica: Twenty-nine years old and nobody has ever asked it for ID.
Run the Tracker Check on google.comIs it in a good neighborhood?
In excellent shape.
Pica: Owns the street, the streetlights, and probably the weather.
Run the TTFB Check on google.comPica runs these checks on your site every day, and only writes when a grade slips. $11.11 a month for 50 sites.
How we grade. Four checks, weighted equally: speed timed by our own browser, a security look from the outside, public reputation signals, and the network the site lives on. A look from the outside is not a server audit.
